KIKU LTD LICENCED FOR CRIMSON SNOW® MC38(S)


After years of observations of mc38 in the country of origin Australia and first trial results in Europe, we are convinced about this variety and achieved exclusive rights for Europe and Turkey.

In our opinion, mc38 has two big advantages:
1. Harvesting time is late, after Fuji and before Pink-strains, and therefore very interesting for the producer.
2. Quality of mc38 is convincing, and therefore attractive for the consumer.

Crimson Snow® mc38(S) is a medium to large apple with a brillant red overcolour and an appealing snowy-white, juicy and crunchy flesh (therefore SNOW). It has a medium-sweet taste with a firm, fine texture and interesting aroma. Mc38 stores very well, both in CA and normal store.Most of the experiences matured in Australia, where Allan MacLean discovered the chance seedling named mc38 in Central Victoria. Today mc38 is a a registered variety, and Crimson Snow® a registered trademark.



Crimson Snow® is grown commercially since some years in Australia, and apples are marketed in a controlled way. The premium prices achieved are impressive.

In the USA and South Africa Crimson Snow® is currently being tested.
In Europe there are trials running in several countries since years.
